Like a fish to a hook I’ve been caught
a sheep tied to a leafless tree in the blazing sun
with the cool waters of a clear brook
quietly flowing at my masters home
yet now I’m unable to drink
my tongue is drying up
stuck to the top of my mouth it starting to cling
How did I get here,
The words of a deceiver, calling out to me from the darkness
Yes, I’m so weak my flesh begins to shiver
But I should be aware
Of foreign voices I should beware
So close to the water,
The flowing river of Life
But now I’m a slave to death,
withering away with every breath
With this rough rope tied tightly to my neck
If only I didn’t wander off, skipping in childish laughter
I should have kept away, staid with my Master
I hear Him call me, I’m so weak
I cry out for Him
Oh temptation, how you have stricken me with a mighty blow
with the last of my weakness, I give a weak call
The Sun has baked me, I lick stones hoping to quench my thirst
my stomach has shrivled up inside of me, its as hard as a rock
Keeper of mine, find me. I’ve wronged you
rescue me from this theif
give me joy and wash away my grief
this heavy rope has made my neck stiff
give me dexirity, my eyes are cloudy and dim
give me clarity. This thief wants to kill me,
devour my flesh
retreive me, carry me home
secure me in your cresh
I hear your steps, I know your voice
You call my name, you have found me
look sir, my flesh bleeds
I’m so sorry, I repent
You understand my cries and hush me
you take me upon your shoulders and take me home
you clean me and use your comb to brush me
you hold no grudge, I feared that perhaps you would crush me
you give me peace, temptation you crush before me
Forever I shall stay by your side
a sheep in your flock
if you’re weary at my Master’s door you should knock
He’ll open the door for you, let you in
Give you Life, Light to you He shall bring
Yeshua The Messiah
The King of Kings, my shepherd and sire

May I have permissiont to make a powerpoint slide of the picture of Jesus the shepherd of his sheep? I would present this slide as part of a Bible lesson to my congregation.
I actually got this picture off the net. I’m not too sure if that is right or wrong actually, not too conversant with copyrights issues. I have however done a little searching and found a link to the artist I can give that to you. It’s http://www.jesusandthelamb.com/
Personally I would say go ahead and make a presentation with the picuture. You’re not selling it or making money off it so that should be cool I guess :S
You’ve awakened me to the fact that I need to start asking permission before I use pictures off google. Thank you
