Crucified with Messiah
Birthed by Devouring Fire, sustained by living waters
Born from above, sojourning on the earth below
Though my spirit’s been made new my flesh still falters
Though my heart is renewed, I strive to keep it kosher
Don’t drink from the wells, keep to the spring of living waters
Worst sinner that I know, live and walk by His Grace
Hard hearted and rebellious,
Have keep my eyes fixed on Messiah
Daily have to crucify the old man,
I have made my resolve, I have died with Messiah
Live by the Spirit, raised with Messiah
A lamp in this world,
Indwelt by God’s Spirit, A lamp to burn brightly
A vessel for God’s Eternal Flames of Fire
Stay close to my kinfolk, the disciple’s of Messiah
Fix our eyes on Our Lord,
One Love like a band of brothers
Dwell in this unity,
Love one another
Love each other, as He has loved us
Fear God and shun evil,
Take up my cross, put on the armour of God
Put to death the misdeeds of the flesh and resist the devil
Living in sin is like drinking from a pool of puss
Living in sin is like dining on a plate of vomit and maggots
As beautiful as sin may seem, its objective is simple
Drag as many people to the second death as it can
The soul that sins it shall die
Lord, keep me in your grace and your arms and keep me from living a lie
Destroy my stiff neckedness and stop me from living to die
Give me the strength to die daily and so through Messiah, live
Blessed be the name of Yeshua The Messiah!
Lord I will seek you, even if my eyes die from crying and my legs from walking
I will seek you even when my heart tires
Cleanse me and purge me
Blessed are the undefiled in the way of Messiah
Truth be told, I have wavered from your ways
The truth you know O’ Lord that these have been dark sin stained days
I feel so consumed by sin its as if I’m drowning in fire
Lord rescue me from my plight and my weakness to all lustful desires
By your Grace I know you shall cause me to lie down in green pastures
I turn away from the old ways and choose now to die to myself
With my whole heart live for Messiah
Drink from your Springs and abide in your Love
follow your commandments, truly live for my sire
Let not my words become vain wishes
Truly I will live for Messiah
Yeshua you are King
You are my Sovereign
I bow to your rule
Give myself a living sacrifice, live worthy of the Lord
Live as one redeemed by the Lord
Live to bring Glory to my God
The “I” Must Die!
In as much as i can ’see’,
That which is of the ‘I’ in me,
So it is i yearn, and to Our Father cry,
For deliverance from all that is of the ‘I’.
The ‘I’, born of “imag”ination and selfish desire,
As lust, greed, and pride, stoked a consuming fire ;-(
A fire burning out of control, as ‘I’ leads the way,
It’s smoke concealing the fleshly minded lies that lead one astray ;-(
Yet even in the smoke, searing heat, and blindness of ’sight’,
Truth can pierce the blackness of darkness, revealing “The Light”!
And nothing can hide from “The Light”, so “Light” reveals the “I”,
Allowing one to “see” clearly, and clearly the “I” must die!
But to live, yet die, seems an impossible task,
And so we need of “Our Father”, the impossible to ask.
Help me to “deny myself(die to self)(die to ‘I’)” Father!
And as HE Helps, HE reveals more and more of “The Selfless One”, The One Who leads His Brethren on “The Way to The Truth of The Life”. He Who was, and is The Messiah, The Son of The Only True G-D, Father(Creator) of ALL!
And as The Messiah desired above all else, so also will His Brethren desire above all else, “Father, not my will, But THY Will Be Done”!
The poem i have recorded above was begun in Creel, Chih, Mexico in ‘93. Left Mexico shortly thereafter, yet returned in ‘04. Then on 1/26/05 the poem was completed, and ‘completion’ is near for each and every one of us. And for “the poor and needy”,
thankfully so…….
Translated, “corruptible to incorruptible” indeed and Truth…….
Home, Home at last!
All Thanks, Praise and Glory Be Unto “Our Father”!
Forever free from The “I”!
And while there is breath(spirit) there is hope many will “see”,
“see” The “I” for what it is, and then desire to be set free!
“And that Spirit that was in The Messiah shall set you free”, “free indeed”!
So, There Is Hope!
For Miracles do happen!
Hope is there would be those who experience The Miracle that is receiving “a love of The Truth” for they will “see” The Light that is The Messiah, they will “see” that The Life is of The Spirit(not seen with the natural eye), not of the flesh or fleshly mind(“I”)!
Peace, in spite of the dis-ease(darkness) that is of this world, for “the WHOLE world is under the control of the evil one”(1Jn5:19) indeed and Truth…….
Truth is never ending…….
(Returned to this place called the u.s. of a. in June of ‘05, yet to return to the simplicity that is rural Mexico is “MY” desire, yet i realize that in all things it must be “Father(Great Spirit, G-D, Creator,,), not my will, But THY Will Be Done!)
